I learned more about the tools and techniques used in photoshop. I learned about layers, painting, effects, filters, timeline, etc. and how to use them. I guess my favorite part of the project was drawing Bee. The whole thing was fun in general. I prefer digital painting and the animation. I am thinking about getting photoshop on my home computer so I can work on more art projects like this. I would like to do more with animation and fan art. Get more used to drawing with the tablets.
I chose this My Chemical Romance poster because I think it has an interesting design. I like the general style of the poster. It's sort of a messy logo to show I guess intensity. They used the font for the "Black Parade" text to give it a sort of old or worn out feeling. They kept the colors black and white to do the same. It sort of reflects the feeling of that album. The text is in a generally open area of sky around and above skyscrapers and blimps and still works together with the background. I would title this Danger Days after the album this picture came from. I tried to make Gerard look pretty cool. I don't exactly know what the feel of the drawing is. I learned more about adjusting the colors and opacity of the drawing tool and how to use it properly. I guess I would like to work more on my technique in general. About shading and how to draw clothes better. I think I did a decent job with shading.
I guess I would title it winter wonderland or something like that. I tried to make it a happy mood. Like reliving memories and how I perceived them. I guess it's about the way kids see the world. I make everything more centered around snow and decorating the trees. I don't really know what the most successful part of the picture is. To me it shows how we all used to perceive things when we were younger.
I'm not exactly sure what the message is, but I wanted to express the colors of the chameleon. I did this by slicing it open and showing the colors on the inside. By using candy! I learned how to draw attention to certain parts of the picture by changing the colors and how to show perspective and dimension by blurring and adding shadow to the candy in the slices. Harmony - In art terms it means that all components in the picture work together to relate and compliment each other. It's achieved through repetition and rhythm. The fish and the orange work together with similar colors to make a clear picture. The vibrant colors compliment each other. They allow the picture to make more sense.
http://www.deviantart.com/art/Sliced-in-Three-59021957 I guess I would title this picture Digital Art. I guess the mood is kinda creative. Just parts of my personality in the picture. I like music so theres lots of notes, I like to scribble every once in a while and sometimes draw. I guess the main statement is that art can come in many forms and styles. That’s why the words “Digital Art” are written multiple times in unique fonts. I guess my favorite part about it is the colors and style. I feel like I need to work on generally learning more about the software so I know how to express more that I want to. I could also work on general composition.
